Welcome to my digital portfolio!  My name is Josie, and I am a graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY. I specialize in branding, typography, social media/web design, and digital illustration and I'm currently looking for a relevant full or part-time position.

In 2023, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, & Planning (DAAP) and received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design. My most recent title was as a full-time Associate Graphic Designer at a Washington D.C.-based marketing agency called Precision Strategies. After getting laid off last year, I pivoted to working in the food service industry.

As a communication designer, I've always been fascinated with humanity's interactions with graphics, and their impact on our everyday lives. I strive to solve complex problems in art & design, and connect with others.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, horror movies, going to museums, seeing live music, and spending quality time with loved ones, especially if with my cat, Stanley.​​
